Volunteer Opportunities
Make a difference on an ongoing basis in the lives of moms, dads, and families
OUR HEARTBEAT
Volunteers are the heartbeat of The SHARE Center! They are our most valuable resource. Volunteers are invited to attend our Volunteer Orientation every first Friday of the month. On-site training is then provided depending on your role at the SHARE Center.
IN-CENTER VOLUNTEERS
Client Advocate
Client advocates provide one-on-one options consultations to patients facing pregnancy decisions and male mentors share options and resources with men and fathers
Sonographers
RN or RDMS volunteers with a current/active license who perform limited OB ultrasounds.
Patient or Client Advocate
Volunteers will meet with patients for their initial consultations, providing pregnancy options, or they meet with clients to facilitate classes on baby care, pregnancy, birth, etc., for our parenting clients
Helping Hands
Volunteers who assist in a variety of opportunities, including sorting incoming boutique donations or providing on-site childcare
The SHARE Center volunteers are highly committed, compassionate people who make a big difference in the lives of our clients. A typical time commitment involves a weekly four-hour shift. Because we are committed to upholding a high level of care for the women who come to us, all potential volunteers undergo a screening and interview process.
